While Mike already had solid business experience and a vision, he credits Brad Ginn and Mark Hood from Sound Brewery in Poulsbo for helping with the licensing tasks and getting his supply chain nailed down. After discussions with one of his good friends, they decided to go forth and open a brewery, Rainy Daze Brewing. When Battenkill Brewing of Poulsbo announced their closure and sale of their brewing system, Mike made some phone calls and eventually acquired the brew system.
